About the Mountain:
Located in the French Alps, Tignes was primarily developed in the 1960s after the original village was flooded to create a hydroelectric reservoir. Since then, it has transformed into a group of villages that form a world-class ski destination, offering over 12,000 acres of skiable terrain and a vertical drop of 6,234 feet. It is known for its affordability, guaranteed snow, and a lively après ski scene.
